Benched: George Ford has gone off the boil

WILL Jeremy Guscott ever find it within himself to forgive the young George Ford for whatever he has done to upset him? It wasn’t so long ago that Jerry was singing the praises of Ford, especially the way he played during the tour of Argentinia in 2017.
But since he left Bath, Guscott if not always directly, has found ways to chip away at the lad.
Come on Jerry, you don’t have to be nasty the whole time. Ford is a great player and I am sure that your forgiveness will help him to be even better.
