IN response to Richard Abbott’s letter last week, in a perfect world all kick off times would be the same and taking his point on the benefits of daylight use, this would not only improve player safety, but also fan safety, stadium utility cost and benefit the environment.
That said, the game is a spectator sport and relies greatly on monies received, with the larger amount, and growing, coming by way of the armchair supporter.
The attending fan, which I am one of on occasion, is a part of the viewing spectacle which has been the same for millennia.
