Tinkering at scrum put me off League

I’M relatively new to Rugby Union being born and bred in St Helens, a staunch Rugby League town.
My father, who toured France in 1935 as a schoolboy, introduced me to Union by sitting me down and making me watch the French national team so I have always been a fan of theirs.
But I must agree with the comments made by John Edwards of Old Sodbury in last week’s edition. The powers that be must sort out this feeding of the scrum before it is too late.
I stopped watching League because of all the needless tinkering. Please don’t let Union go the same way.
