JUST watched the last batch of European Cup games and I’m so, so depressed about the state of rugby.
With the possible exception of Leinster the rugby was about as exciting as the weather, it was dreadful.
Big blokes with little skill running into each other and then kicking downfield because they couldn’t think of anything else to do.
Referees for some reason continue to ignore the laws that say the ball should be put in straight at the scrum and lineout and the game stops every few minutes for people to rush onto the pitch to tend to their overpaid charges.
