If ref didn’t see it, then it didn’t happen

COLIN Boag in his comments about TMOs misses a fundamental aspect of the game – ‘Play to the whistle’, a basic tenet taught from day one of learning the game. If a referee or official did not see an offence and blows for play to be brought back, that offence didn’t happen and should not be retroactively brought back into consideration X number of moves later.
