IN last Sunday’s Rugby Paper, Jeff Probyn refers to how the ‘nuclear option’ button may need to be pressed with regard to calling a Special General Meeting to discuss recent developments at the RFU.
That will confirm what many of us have long suggested, that the RFU has failed the grassroots game in England for many years. As Probyn said: “The RFU is acting like the proverbial swan, gliding serenely along above water while all hell is breaking loose below.”
