HAS anyone any idea why rugby referees allow scrum halves to deliberately feed the ball into the scrum directly into the second row and not as the law (19 paragraph 16f) requires: “Straight along the middle line.’’
I have regularly watched Leicester Tigers, many Premiership matches and internationals and no body follows this rule.
