WITH reference to Brendan Gallagher’s report last weekend of Clermont v Northampton, it sounds a little like sour grapes to me, it’s nearly as bad as the BT Sport pundits.
The referee had a difficult afternoon through no fault of his own but down to the officials on the sidelines. He can only control what goes on on the field and isn’t there to tell who or who hasn’t passed the HIA. That’s the responsibility of the team doctor.
