PETER Holling makes a very good point in last week’s letters section.
When advantage is being played following foul play and the nonoffending team score a try, the penalty is forgotten. It irks Peter and me that a penalty for foul play can be swept under the carpet in this way.
Peter suggests that a penalty should be awarded from the halfway line at the restart of play, but I would suggest that the laws should take it further than this.
