“LONGdistance runner Webb….” article, describing ‘super-fit’ Rhys Webb as tailoring his ‘high-tempo running training’ to a higher Lions fitness and match distance of 5.5km – 6km a game compared to 4.5km as Ospreys scrum-half.
If that is super-fit, I’m not sure how you’d describe the fitness levels of the top sides in the Championship – ‘ultra-super-fit’ perhaps?
As just one example of many, Luke Carter, No.9 for Ealing Trailfinders regularly runs 6.5km to 7km at pace in a match with the fast, high-tempo and highs...
