There’s a reason it’s called a Test match

AS a relative newcomer to the ‘modern’ rugby football game, I would beg to differ with Colin Boag’s assertion that the step up on physicality and intensity from club to international rugby is a myth.
Bath v Northampton on Friday was a slower game offensively compared to last weekend’s Six Nations and there was no where near the same intensity in defence.
Nontheless, I thought it was a very good game of football, one of the best club matches I have attended so far this season.
But in my opinion, international rugby still deserves the title of a Test match.
