McElroy joins Sale

SALE have signed Tadgh McElroy from Ulster until the end of the season. Luke Cowan-Dickie is with England and Tommy Taylor is injured, leaving Ethan Caine as Sale’s only available senior hooker.
McElroy, 27, only joined Ulster on a short-term deal last month, but has previously played for Saracens, London Irish, Leinster and Connacht.
“He’s moved around a few clubs in the past few years but he’s keen to put down some roots,” Sale DoR Alex Sanderson said.
