Newcastle have signed Connor Doherty on loan for next season from Sale Sharks. The 23-year-old centre, who has signed a contract with Sale until 2026, came through the Sharks academy and has been involved in seven first-team games this season.
Coventry have re-signed scrum-half Josh Barton on a multi-year deal from Newcastle to replace the retiring Will Chudley. The 26-year-old spent two campaigns at the Butts Park Arena prior to joining Falcons in 2022.
