WALES fly-half Elinor Snowsill has retired from professional rugby.
Snowsill, who won 76 caps, played at four World Cups and and leaves the side sitting sixth in the world – their highest ever ranking – following consecutive third-place finishes in the past two Six Nations.
“It’s been one hell of a journey,” Snowsill said. “It has been a career full of highs and lows.”
The 34-year-old will take up a coaching role with Cardiff Met University, where she will help the Welsh Rugby Union identify the next generation of talented players.
