AN impressive 37 university players have been picked up by Premiership and Championship clubs heading into the season, as the prestige of BUCS Super Rugby continues to build.
Eleven have joined Premiership clubs and 26 have moved into the Championship, with the final transfer of the lot being Alec Lloyd-Seed signing for Doncaster.
Blindside reported in June that the Knights were interested, and though coach Steve Boden is not likely to rush him into a first-team berth, he sees potential in the former Exeter University fly-half.
