CANTERBURY just did enough to take the honours in what proved to be a great game of rugby.
This fixture was a ‘must-win’ for Worthing Raiders, but with the visitors also needing the points, this proved a closely-fought contest throughout.
Within two minutes Harrison Dakin scored Worthing’s first try, although the conversion was missed.
Canterbury struck straight back with a try from Kurt Heather-ley, converted by Frank Reynolds, before Tom Williams added a second converted score.
