MENTION of the late Peter Brown the other week following his passing reminded me of a small niggling grievance he never failed to mention in the four or five times I spoke to him at any length over the years. Namely the 1964 Five Nations when Scotland, with three wins out of four games, were deemed to have only shared the Championship with Wales who ‘only’ managed two wins that season but also notched up two draws.
