RICHMOND are demanding a review of the RFU’s decision to allow Yorkshire Carnegie to play on in the Championship next season. Richmond, who were relegated into National One, had been hoping Carnegie would be demoted for their financial chaos and they would be reintstated.
A Richmond statement issued last night said: “We are disappointed with the decision of the RFU Board that Yorkshire Carnegie can remain a Championship Club and will be seeking a review of that decision.
