RFU are ‘gagging’ us say Councillors

A NEW code of conduct approved last month by the RFU Council has been condemned as ‘a gagging order’ by former members of the 55-man body which represents the rank and file English clubs.
One past Council member told The Rugby Paper: “It sounds like a gagging order which is aimed at preventing former members of the Council, as well as present members, speaking out about RFU policies that they disagree with on the grounds that they are not in the interests of the game as a whole.”
