McNicholl poised for new deal at Scarlets

JOHNNY McNicholl is set to sign a new deal with the Scarlets.
The New Zealand-born wing’s contract in Llanelli expires at the end of the upcoming season, but he is poised to extend his threeyear stay at the club.
The Rugby Paper understands McNicholl, 27, has not yet put pen to paper, but all the signs point to him continuing his career in west Wales.
Scarlets and Wales coach-in-waiting Wayne Pivac will be delighted to retain one of the deadliest attacking players in the PRO14.
