London Welsh can only wait

London Welsh have been heard in their appeal in the Tyson Keats case last night in London but the RFU said in a statement that the Panel of Inquiry will give its decision in “due course.”
The Exiles were found guilty earlier this month of fielding the New-Zealand born scrum-half with the wrong registration for 10 matches and deducted five league points as a result as well as being fined £15,000.
The point-deduction left them bottom of the Premiership table two points below Sale with five games to go before the end of the regular season.
In the same case, former team manager Mike Scott, who was at the helm of the matter, has been banned for life from any involvement in rugby for his implication.
The final verdict is expected today.
