Canadian International back row Jebb Sinclair has signed a three-year contract extension with London Irish.
Sinclair has been in impressive form since his return to Sunbury following a loan period in South Africa with the Stormers and Western Province where he was an integral part of the 2012 Currie Cup winning side.
Standing 6’4” and weighing 18 stone, Sinclair has added a huge physicality to the London Irish pack since his return to the Club. He has played five times this season to add to his 13 appearances since joining the Club in 2011.
Sinclair joined the Exiles on the back of a superb 2011 Churchill Cup campaign where he was an outstanding performer for Canada.
London Irish Director of Rugby Brian Smith said: “Jebb Sinclair is a rugby coach’s dream.
“He is committed, physical on the pitch and a very positive influence in the changing room. He has been getting through a mountain of work in recent matches and has provided some real dog in the pack. I’m delighted he has decided to be part of the club’s future.”
The 26 year-old, who joined London Irish from Canadian side Atlantic Rock said: “London Irish was the first professional side I signed for so I am very happy to be devoting the next three years of my rugby career to the Club.
“It has been a tough season so far, but I believe that with the players we have in the squad, it will not be long before we turn this around and start competing at the top end of the table.”
