England secured their seventh straight Six Nations title and fourth Grand Slam in a row as they beat France 43-42 in an exhilarating showing at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham.
The Red Roses led 31-7 in the first half, but France fought back with some classy tries to make it a nervy finish.
England head coach John Mitchell said: “After a really good start, we potentially could have put them away but they got energy through the middle of us. And that’s what French sides do. Once they get energy, that’s when they can feel success.”
