Riley calls it a day to take up coaching role

SEDGLEY Park stalwart Matt Riley has confirmed his retirement from the sport after surpassing a remarkable 450 club appearances to help keep his beloved side in National One for another season.
Riley, 38, played more games for one club than any other player in the top four divisions of England or France.
The inside centre made 19 outings this season and played his final home game at Park Lane in an emotional occasion for him and his family. Sedgley ran out 63-24 winners against Darlington Mowden Park, and Riley says the time just felt right to hang up his boot...
