The hype was in full flood after Leinster’s two-match 142-0 European Cup haul against Harlequins and Glasgow, when the head coach of the next team to take them on in Dublin, Ulster’s Richie Murphy, declared: “At this moment, Leinster look like the strongest team in Europe, possibly in the world.”
