Coventry chairman Jon Sharp operates with a cautious business model but hopes he can guide the Midlanders into the Premiership.
Having seen average attendances grow from 600 to 3,000-plus during his 12-year tenure, Sharp has revealed plans to extend the capacity of Butts Park Arena to near 8,000 following numerous sell-outs this term.
Sharp wants to make Coventry fit for the top flight but stresses they won’t rush to the Premiership’s entry requirements of 10,001 until it’s safe to do so.
