Despite a season of mammoth journeys virtually every other week, Macclesfield confirmed their survival in National Two West, but Harry Blackwell admits it hasn’t been easy.
Macclesfield were placed in the West division rather than the North because there are too many northern teams at this level, replacing Chester even though they are further north.
And inside centre Blackwell revealed that the club fears they’ll be placed in the West again next term because of the number of northern teams that have won promotion from level 5.
