There’ll be no cheating while I’m in charge, says new boss

THE Ligue Nationale de Rugby (LNR), the body that runs the Top 14 and ProD2 professional men’s rugby divisions in France, has a new president following a rubber-stamping vote on Thursday Yann Roubert, 47, was elected unopposed, after incumbent Rene Bouscatel, 78, withdrew following an internal poll of the Union of Professional Rugby Clubs – basically, the 30 club presidents – the previous evening.
