INTERNATIONAL Women’s Day may have been around for more than 100 years, but it is only 10 years since the women rugby players of Oxford and Cambridge achieved parity with their male counterparts by playing their annual Varsity Match at Twickenham.
That was back in 2015 and the 38th meeting of the two teams will celebrate not only the 10th anniversary of that milestone, but also of the intergration of the men’s and women’s clubs at both universities, at the StoneX on Saturday (12pm kick off) – the 2025 International Women’s Day.
