Aso brace helps Wild Knights maintain unbeaten start to season

VINCE Aso scored a brace of tries as Saitama Wild Knights continued their spotless start to the Japan Rugby League One season with a 53-26 victory at home to the winless Urayasu D-Rocks.
After six rounds, Robbie Deans’ Wild Knights are the only unbeaten side and have an eight-point buffer over nearest rivals, Yokohama Eagles.
The hosts were in control from the outset at Kumagaya Rugby Stadium and led 32-5at half-time against Greig Laidlaw’s team, who added a measure of respectability to the final score with backto-back tries in the closing minutes.
