LOUGHBOROUGH put one hand on the league trophy as Bath fell to defeat against Hartpury.
It was going to take a monumental effort to stop the African-Violet behemoth and for most of the season, only Bath have looked capable of doing so. However, a defeat in round 11 to the leaders, and another this week to now second-placed Hartpury opens up a 10-point gap between Bath and top spot.
