MATT Gallagher is ‘excited’ for his debut Six Nations following his call-up to the Italy squad.
The Benetton Treviso full-back, who left Bath last summer, earned his first cap last year when the Azzurri defeated Samoa in July.
Gallagher is optimistic about Italy’s chances of building on their ‘best Six Nations’ this year.
He said: “I think we have a good opportunity to do well but we have got to keep ourselves humble as it will be hard work, we know it is not just going to be given to us.
