England have been warned to expect “tough battles” when they enter the backyard of the Pumas this summer but South Africa fly-half Handre Pollard expects to see an upturn in their fortunes after a poor year in La Plata (July 5) and then San Juan seven days later by facing the Lions in Dublin on June 20.
Argentina are two places above England in the world rankings courtesy of wins over South Africa, New Zealand and Australia in the Rugby Championship and Boks fly-half Pollard, who run since beating Ireland in last year’s Six Nations.
