If tackling the elite of English and European rugby was not enough for Exeter Chiefs to contend with, director of rugby Rob Baxter has blasted fixture schedulers in regards to weekly turnaround times for his side.
Baxter watched on as his Chiefs – at the ninth attempt – finally claimed their first win of the season in the Premiership with a 22-15 victory over Gloucester at Sandy Park last Sunday.
A late Josh Iosefa-Scott score helped ease the pressure on the Devonians who, until that point, had failed to win in either the Premiership or Champions Cup this season.
