Here's hoping that the knee injury that Gloucester’s Afo Fasogbon sustained against Harlequins on Friday does not rule him out for long – because England desperately need the outstanding young tighthead to bolster their scrum in the Six Nations.
England coach Steve Borthwick made an error in not blooding Fasogbon alongside his England U20 prop team-mate Asher Opoku-Fordjour at Test level against Japan in the autumn because the two of them in tandem – with Opoku-Fordjour reverting to loosehead – could be transformative.
