A number of rugby clubs across England and Wales have been left “devastated”, decimated and at risk of disappearing altogether after Storm Bert caused widespread damage last weekend.
Around 10 clubs across south Wales, the west and north-west England were hit particularly hard by the fatal storm.
Three Gwent-based rugby clubs – Cross Keys, Blackwood and Newport High School Old Boys – have all started crowd funding appeals.
