Rubiolo to join Bristol

NEWCASTLE’S Argentina lock Pedro Rubiolo will join Bristol next summer on a “long-term deal”. The 21-year-old, who has 19 caps for the Pumas, has played 21 times for Newcastle since joining in January 2023.
He was part of the Argentina side that reached the RWC semi-finals and helped Argentina beat New Zealand and South Africa in this year’s Rugby Championship, and started all four of his country’s autumn Tests.
