WHILE two of his cohorts from England U20 rugby have enjoyed a meteoric rise since their age-grade days together, scrum-half Tom Carr-Smith is satisfied with the steady progress he’s making at Bath.
Former half-back partner Fin Smith has won five senior England caps while Smith’s Saints team-mate George Hendy took the Player of the Match honours in last June’s Premiership Final against Bath.
Carr-Smith was nowhere near the matchday 23 that day, with the vastly more experienced Louis Schreuder handed the task of covering for captain Ben Spencer. B...
