CHAMPIONSHIP newsboys Chinnor made a promising start to their inaugural season in the second tier and despite being brought down to earth with back-to-back defeats in recent weeks, experienced hooker Alun Walker remains upbeat.
Led by director of rugby Nick Easter, Chinnor won two of their opening three games against Cambridge and Caldy, with a hard fought loss to Ampthill in-between.
A 28-14 loss to Coventry was followed by a 34-19 home defeat to Hartpury and 34-year-old Walker, below, who has seen it all in his time with Ealing, Nottingham, Edinburgh and Newcastle...
