WITH six rounds down, 12 to go, and Premiership Cup action draining university resources, men’s BUCS Super Rugby took a well earned break this week.
The lay of the land, even at an early stage, reads far differently than anyone could have imagined. The all-conquering Exeter, who at this point last season were in the midst of a record 16-match unbeaten run, are the biggest surprise, sitting fourth with two losses in their last two games. It already equals the amount of losses last season, although the teams they have lost to perhaps jump out most.
