GEORGE Makepeace-Cubitt was stacking supermarket shelves at the start of the year but the England Under-20 outside-half is now expressing himself at Northampton having been one of the casualties of London Irish’s collapse.
The 20-year old made his Saints debut at Bristol in the last round of the Premiership with Fin Smith away on England duty.
Last season, he was playing two divisions below the Premiership with the Rams but he did not look out of place as the champions were eventually overhauled by the Bears after making a strong start.
