FORMER Cornish Pirates back row Bear Williams has flourished in making the difficult transition from rugby union to league and has plans to play in Australia’s NRL.
The 23-year-old grew up in a union stronghold of Teddington, London but having been inspired by dual-code stars like Sam Burgess, he had an itch that needed scratching.
