HORNETS savoured a narrow high-scoring victory over Old Redcliffians.
The home side started strongly, with Sam Scott crossing for the opening try, converted by Charlie Carter.
Josh Sheppard added a second converted score before Carter extended the lead with a penalty to make it 17-0.
