WALES centre Scott Williams is training with Dragons and head coach Dai Flanagan says it could lead to the offer of a deal.
Williams, 34, left Scarlets last summer and has been looking for a new club.
Dragons need to replace Steff Hughes who is leaving Dragons at the end of October to join Old Glory DC in the United States.
Asked whether there was a chance of a contract for Williams, Flanagan replied: “For sure, he is chomping at the bit. He has an itch to scratch and people in that situation are usually determined... there could be an opportunity to see him in a Dragons shirt...
