A MEMORIAL service is to be held at Dollar Parish Church on Friday week in honour of a Scot who carried the name of arguably his country’s greatest city into Five Nations’ battle with ferocious distinction: Ronnie Glasgow.
Born and bred not on the banks of the Clyde but in Haddington, he blazed a trail for a couple of likely local lads, the Calder brothers who would follow him into Scotland’s back row during the Eighties.
