STEVE Diamond says Newcastle Falcons will operate with a simplistic game plan moving forward which he feels will make them competitive in the Premiership.
The consultant director of rugby has endured a tough opening to his first full season in charge and with the club on a 25-match winless run in the top flight following Friday’s defeat at Sale.
The 42-10 loss at home to Leicester last week caused Diamond to have a re-think. He felt Tigers were there for the taking without their suspended head coach Michael Cheika.
