THERE are many creaking retired players only too pleased to recount how they played the game into their 40s, but Nick Royle is a bit different.
The 41-year-old prolific winger is still scoring tries in the Championship for Caldy with sufficient pace and skill to trouble allcomers.
For the last 10 years Royle has been setting records with Caldy, including the all-time try record for the National Leagues with over 300 to his name and continuing his form into the Championship.
But he says he will call time on his stellar career in the summer.
