Met claim double bragging rights in Cardiff

THREE teams have maintained unbeaten runs after two games in the men’s competition while the inaugural season of women’s BSR sparked into action with three high scoring matches.
In the ‘Cardiff Clash’ double header, Cardiff Met women took on Cardiff at the Arms Park before the men’s sides followed in front of a packed crowd. Met women set the tone with a 57-0 thrashing, before the men followed suit with a 41-7 victory, second row Oliver Smith grabbing a brace amongst five try scorers.
