NEWLY promoted Macclesfield have so far held their own in the fourth tier, despite being over two hours away from their closest opposition.
Having previously played in the North, the club are now in National Two West after replacing Chester as part of the RFU’s unconventional league structure and will face 18-hour round trips to Redruth and Camborne, their furthest away fixtures this year.
