O’Shea backing England A to bridge the gap

ENGLAND A return to action in November and RFU director of performance Conor O’Shea feels they have a ‘generational team coming together’.
The Stoop will host England A’s meeting with Australia on November 17 after the 91-5 thrashing of Portugal earlier this year at Welford Road marked the return of the international second team for the first time in eight years.
Former Italy head coach O’Shea believes the A team is an essential part of an international rugby setup, bridging the gap between U20s and senior level.
